Colorado Grants Guide
The 2009-2010 edition of the Colorado Grants
Guide
is the most essential and up-to-date fundraising
tool for nonprofit and community-based organizations in Colorado! This comprehensive resource guide contains hundreds of profiles on:
- Local foundations and trusts
- Corporations
- National funders
- Government agencies
- Religious organizations
The 2009-2010 edition is available in two distinct,
yet compatible formats: the traditional spiral-bound printed
version and the easy to use online version. Both versions
of the guide contain information on over 500 funders. The guide profiles each funder individually,
telling you about the funders':
- Purpose and mission
- Areas of interest
- Geographic focus
- Application Guidelines
- Financial Information
- Board of Trustees
- Recent grants and much more!
Searchable indices
allow grantseekers to research funders that support a specific
area of interest, geographic location or type of grant, such
as general operating support or capital campaigns. There is
also a separate index for application deadlines.
A technical assistance section includes
several articles about:
- Budgeting
- Writing a basic proposal using the Common Grant Application.
Forms are also available for download in our Resources
Section.
- Future trends in the sector
By purchasing a subscription to the Online Version, grant seekers
can conduct targeted, time-saving research via the Internet.
The Online Version will provide you with:
- An easy-to-use "search screen"
- A quick way to find funders who are interested in your
funding needs
- Searches which can take minutes rather than hours
- Immediate access to a funder's web site (when available)
- Regularly updated profiles
