Apply today – CRC partners with the Denver Office of Strategic Partnerships to offer FREE Consulting Services

Interested in building your organization's capacity to contract or partner with government?  Then we invite you to apply for the Nonprofit Capacity Building Program.

This effort can help support your organization in building its capacity through 30 hours of free consulting for your organization valued at $3,750, funded in partnership with the Denver Office of Strategic Partnerships and the Denver Office of Economic Development.  We are offering support in the following areas:

  • Strategic Planning
  • Financial Management
  • Program Evaluation

The program is designed to help you be more effective in your work and in managing your government contracts and will involve 30 hours of consulting provided by the Community Resource Center.  All applicants must be providing services in the City and County of Denver to be eligible.  See the application for additional eligibility information. 

Consulting will be offered at all levels, from laying a basic foundation to advanced refinement of systems, depending on your organization's needs.

Weathering the Storm: Challenges and Opportunities Facing Colorado’s Nonprofits During Recession
The Community Resource Center and the Colorado Nonprofit Association are pleased to announce the release of the updated Weathering the Storm: Challenges and Opportunities Facing Colorado’s Nonprofits During Recession.  This report highlights how nonprofit organizations throughout Colorado have responded to the economic downturn.  While the report indicates that nonprofit organizations did indeed struggle during 2009, the resiliency of the sector is clear.  Click here to read the full updated report.

Announcing the revised Colorado Common Grant Report!
The revised Colorado Common Grant Report (CGR) was launched in August 2009, and is now available to download. Be sure to check with your grantmakers to learn when they plan to adopt the revised CGR.

The new CGR User's Guide is a guide to assist you in using the CGR effectively.  This document is in PDF format with bookmarks, and can be used on-line or as a desk-top reference tool.
